ENHANCING AN ENVIRONMENT

Client: U-M Division of Public Safety & Security (DPSS)

THE CHALLENGE

With dozens of new staff joining the division across different operational roles every quarter, onboarding risked feeling decentralized and purely administrative. DPSS needed an engaging, cohesive event identity and visual toolkit to make the quarterly orientation feel welcoming, build immediate culture, and present complex departmental information in an easily digestible format.

THE APPROACH

I rebuilt the site architecture, visual system, and integrated WCAG accessibility standards. This streamlined navigation for critical safety services and established responsive UI components. The new site launched on September 5, 2026 with a cross-channel promotion campaign I designed to drive adoption.
