SOCIAL MEDIA

SAFETY ACROSS CHANNELS

Client: U-M Division of Public Safety & Security (DPSS)

THE CHALLENGE

Campus safety topics like stalking awareness, online dating safety, and the Clery Report often carry dense, heavy information that students and staff tend to overlook in busy social feeds. DPSS needed an engaging, relatable multi-channel visual strategy to cut through feed noise, drive traffic to critical safety web articles, and maintain brand continuity across diverse monthly topics.

THE APPROACH

I rebuilt the site architecture, visual system, and integrated WCAG accessibility standards. This streamlined navigation for critical safety services and established responsive UI components. The new site launched on September 5, 2026 with a cross-channel promotion campaign I designed to drive adoption.
