WEB DESIGN

MODERNIZING A WEBSITE

Client: U-M Division of Public Safety & Security (DPSS)

THE CHALLENGE

The existing public-facing website suffered from fragmented information architecture, outdated UI patterns, and accessibility gaps, making critical safety resources hard to navigate for the university community.

THE APPROACH

I rebuilt the site architecture, visual system, and integrated WCAG accessibility standards. This streamlined navigation for critical safety services and established responsive UI components. The new site launched on September 5, 2026 with a cross-channel promotion campaign I designed to drive adoption.

THE RESULT

21.5%

Increase in Engagement in the First Ten Months

303K

OTHER WORKS

I've led similar website modernization initiatives at the U-M Center for Research on Learning & Teaching and the U-M Center for Educational Outreach.
